“Maida showed a quick bat and short compact swing helping him get around on pitches. He also showed patience at the plate as he drew one walk in the game. Maida stole two bases in the game [including home] and scored two runs as he was disruptive for the Columbia Angels on the bases.”

He has a good hands and quick transfers defensively with a quick release. Maida has smooth actions and his feet work well on the infield. He has developing arm strength with good defensive tools. At the plate, Maida starts with a square stance and uses a leg lift trigger to start his swing. He made consistent hard line drive contact and generates good bat speed. He uses a middle of the field approach and uses his hands well in his swing. Maida showed good instincts on the base paths and defensively. Excellent student.”
